What you’ll need

1 packet Short Cut Pastry

1 Packet Three Aussie Farmers Pulled Chicken

1 bottle of tomato pesto

1 cup black olives

2 cups Mozzarella cheese

1 egg, whisked

Sour cream (optional)

How to make it

1.       Combine chicken, pesto, ½ cup olives and cheese in a bowl.

2.       Using a circle pastry cutter, cut 12 circles of short crust pastry and place each circle into the base of a muffin or cupcake tray.

3.       Spoon the mixture into each muffin/cupcake tin. Cut another 12 circles of short crust pastry and place each circle on top of the pies. Use a fork to seal the edges.

4.       Brush the top of each pie with whisked egg and place in oven at 200 degrees for 20 mins or until pastry is golden.

5.       Remove from oven and allow to cool. Slice olives into thin half-moons and arrange into a face on top of each pie. TIP: you can use sour cream to secure the olives in place.
