What you’ll need

1 packet Thin Pork Sausages

3 sheets short crust pastry

8 hot dog buns (for coffins)

1 egg, whisked

Mayonnaise for eyes

BBQ Sauce for eye pupils & to serve

Tomato sauce to serve

Mustard to serve

How to make it

1.       Cook sausage in medium pan over high heat for 2 mins or until browned.

2.       Remove from heat and allow to cool

3.       Cut thin strips of pastry and wrap around each sausage in different directions to create the appearance of a mummy

4.       Place each sausage wrapped in pastry on a baking tray. Brush with egg wash and place in oven at 200 degrees for 15 mins or until pastry is golden brown.

5.       Remove from oven, place 2 small circles of mayo and BBQ sauce on the top of each sausage to create eyes for the mummies.

6.       Serve in Hotdog buns (coffins) with your choice of sauce.
